'Every Year After' Renewed For Season 2 With 'One Golden Summer' Plot - Deadline

Prime Video is going back to Barry’s Bay. Following the success of the streamer’s television adaptation of Carley Fortune’s best-seller Every Summer After — titled Every Year After in show form — a second season has been given the go ahead. The announcement was made onstage Saturday at Prime Video’s Obsessed Fest (You can watch it below). Source material that will serve as the basis is Fortune’s sequel book of sorts, One Golden Summer, which focuses on Charlie Florek’s (Michael Bradway) love story.
