Elon Musk a fost găsit responsabil de un juriu din California pentru dezinformarea acționarilor Twitter în timpul achiziției sale de 44 de miliarde de dolari a platformei de socializare în 2022. Conform deadline.com, juriul în cazul colectiv Pampena v. Musk a stabilit vineri că tweet-ul mogulului Tesla, prin care afirma că afacerea era „temporar suspendată”, a fost dăunător și înșelător, rezultând într-o scădere de aproape 10% a acțiunilor Twitter într-o sesiune. Verdictul ar putea costa pe Musk până la 2,6 miliarde de dolari în despăgubiri.
