The strongest football championship in Bihor had its playoff first round last weekend. CAO, CS Diosig, and Bihorul Beius were the teams with chances at winning but only Madalin Popa's team (CS Diosig), with many experienced players, managed to maintain their favorite status in their home game against Universitatea Oradea. The goals were scored at the beginning and at the end of the match by Carlos Covaciu and Raymond Lukacs. On the other hand, CAO, although they started off strong, could have lost in the end if Sergiu Ban didn't miss a penalty for the guests in the 88th minute. The final result was a tie, 2-2.
